Review by hotel critic
My stay at ML Hotel in Haarlem was a delightful mix of old-world charm and modern comfort. The spacious superior suite exuded a sense of luxury with its tasteful decor and stunning views of the St Bavo Church. The room's amenities, including the Nescafé coffee maker and comfortable sitting area, made us feel right at home. The bathroom was well-appointed, with a bathtub and separate shower, adding a touch of opulence. While the breakfast, though slightly pricey at around 18 euros, was a generous spread, the lack of options for customization left us wishing for a bit more flexibility. However, the central location of the hotel, facing the Grote Kerk, made exploring the historic town a breeze. The attentive staff further enhanced our experience, adding a personal touch to our stay.In terms of value, the hotel strikes a good balance between cost and luxury. The room rates may lean towards the higher end, but the quality of service and amenities justifies the expense. For those looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Haarlem, ML Hotel is a solid choice.
